Curlys Jewels
Curlys Jewels are a hard rock band from Wellington, New Zealand. Their charismatic, colourful and instantly likeable front person, Jel Pollock, draws listeners in with her delightfully unique stage presence and sensational vocal range. Aaron Ludlow’s crunching guitar riffs mixed together with the powerful rhythm section of Andy van der Heyden (bass) and Corey Bell (drums), lay down the foundations for their massive songs and spectacular live shows.
Their 2023 acclaimed self titled album peaked at #5 on the Official NZ Top 40 Album chart. Two of the album’s singles received mainstream airplay on New Zealand top rock radio stations. The album was produced by Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers, Bullet for my Valentine), mixed by Clint Murphy (Devilskin) and mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound Nashville USA.
Curlys Jewels have supported international acts including legends, Living Colour (USA). They have also supported several heavy weight New Zealand bands while also completing a number of their own headline tours across the country.
